Just after 9pm on September 28, 2025, a single image and a short line of text landed on X.
[Announcement] Kana Momonogi will retire from AV with the work whose details go public on October 7, 2025.
Views passed 6.1 million. Likes hit 35,000. The night the 2.1-million-follower account moved, the news reached well beyond the AV industry.
On October 10, the final work streamed as announced. The setting: a hot-spring inn. On a business trip, she’s put in the same room as two bosses she despises. One extra detail was added to the setup — the air conditioner is broken. Reposts: 3,561. Bookmarks: 1,641.
The title has a precedent. In February 2020, Momonogi’s “Stuck Sharing a Room with a Boss I Despise at a Hot-Spring Inn on a Business Trip…” drew 153 reviews. The final work, arriving five and a half years later, doubled that boss from one to two. The curtain fell on the setup she’d returned to more than any other across ten years.
The final work drew 8 reviews, averaging 4.50. Runtime: 125 minutes. The last of 346 total appearances. The sample video opens at the inn’s front desk, the moment she’s told the room is shared. What this decade repeated can be sketched out in those few dozen seconds.
On October 24, Takeshobo released the retirement nude photobook . (Period) for 4,950 yen. On June 5, 2026, a 45-hour box set collecting all 107 titles she left at IDEA POCKET went on sale. The label’s chosen word for it: “Complete Finale.”
Born in Tokyo, December 24, 1996. Height 153cm, blood type AB, hobbies karaoke and competitive eating. Ten years exclusive with IDEA POCKET. FANZA lists 346 total appearances, 152 of them solo.
Profile — A Tokyo Native at 153cm
The numbers on her official profile sketch her outline directly.
- Date of Birth: December 24, 1996
- Birthplace: Tokyo
- Height: 153cm
- Measurements: B80 / W54 / H80
- Blood Type: AB
- Hobbies: Karaoke, competitive eating
- Exclusive Label: IDEA POCKET (October 2015 – October 2025, 10-year exclusive)
- Group Affiliation: Ebisu Muscats (joined September 2015)
153cm with a B80 bust. Bust and hips match at 80cm, waist at 54cm. This is the basis for IDEA POCKET pairing “Big Breasts” with “Beautiful Girl” as her marketing tags. The ratio between her height and bust size essentially decided how the label sold her.
Her Christmas Eve birthday was another detail PR kept returning to. While her anniversary BEST releases stayed fixed in November for the first four years, projects built around her birth date were placed in February. The 2021 “5th Birthday Anniversary” release is one example — the milestone was set at a time removed from both her debut month and her birth month.
She joined her idol group in September 2015; her AV debut followed in October the same year. The group came first. The Ebisu Muscats member announcement and the IDEA POCKET debut notice landed a month apart, and her X account also started in September. The talent-side groundwork was in place before her exposure as an AV actress began. The starting point of what the label would later sum up, a decade on, as a three-stage arc — “from AV actress to AV idol to top sexy influencer” — sits one month ahead of her debut month.
Her appearance count has two layers. 346 titles come up under her name on FANZA. Of those, 152 are solo works with her as the only performer; the remaining 194 are scenes folded into multi-actress compilations. The “107 titles” the 45-hour box advertises appears to correspond to her solo works specifically at IDEA POCKET. The 152 figure includes titles under other labels and VR works, so the counting method differs by a step.
The “343 titles” figure that has circulated, then, is the result of adding these two layers together and conflating the total with her solo count. 152 solo works were shot over ten years — roughly 15 per year. A pace exceeding one title a month, unbroken for a decade.
Her X bio leads with words that have nothing to do with her profession.

The first two lines put “Jiro” and “shaved ice” ahead of any job description. A Ramen Jiro regular, a shaved-ice tourist. Self-presentation that lines up with “competitive eating” in her hobbies sits ahead of the “AV actress” title. Her fanbase carries the name “Team Momonogi” — she coined it herself and fixed it into her bio.
Her Instagram bio is even shorter.

The self-introduction for an account with 2 million followers fits in two lines. An operation that favors images over word count — her August 4, 2024 post, a single word (“texture”), pulled 2.77 million views and 41,000 likes. Her October 3, 2023 post, two words (“hey there”), hit 1.44 million views and 25,000 likes. This is what her social media looked like in year ten, having committed fully to stripping words away.
Career — A Decade That Began in the Autumn She Turned 18
Born in December 1996, Momonogi debuted in October 2015 — still 18, in autumn.
2015 — FIRST IMPRESSION 89
In September 2015, her name was announced as a new member of the sexy idol group Ebisu Muscats. Her X account started operating the same month — active before her debut even happened.
The following October, she debuted as an IDEA POCKET exclusive. The title: “FIRST IMPRESSION 89 — An Idol-Grade Beauty’s Shocking AV Debut.” Entry 89 in the label’s flagship series for launching newcomers. 47 reviews, averaging 4.43 — a number that still ranks near the top when lined up against every solo work from the following decade.
FIRST IMPRESSION numbers every entry in sequence. Slot 89 falls in a period when the series was already running as a fixed format — a debut slot built and ready, with newcomers slotting in one after another. In Momonogi’s case, the phrase attached to her banner was “idol-grade beauty.”
November brought “4 Climaxes Plus a One-Shot Smash Facial Blowjob — First Outdoors! First Restraints! First POV! First Cosplay! First POV Filming!,” 34 reviews at 4.50. Five instances of “first” line up in the title. December’s “Let’s Do It at School with the Honor-Student Idol” drew 25 reviews at 4.08. A newcomer rollout built to burn through “firsts” three months running.
Three solo works in her debut year. Review counts fall from 47 to 34 to 25 — by early velocity alone, a textbook shape where votes cluster around the debut title.
2016 — Her First BEST, One Year into Her Debut
On November 3, 2016, “Surprise! Momonogi! 8-Hour BEST” streamed — her first compilation, spanning eight titles. 15 reviews at 4.33, 479-minute runtime. Assembled 13 months after her debut.
Solo output rose to 13 titles that year. Counting compilation appearances, 18. Both the volume and the response needed to build a BEST compilation were already in place after year one.
In February, “Kana Momonogi: 180-Minute Personal Booking — Deluxe Sex-Work 4-Round Plus Pink Salon” drew 29 reviews at 4.10. January’s cohabitation-themed work drew 19 at 4.37. Following the three debut-year titles, two tracks — sex-work roleplay and cohabitation — were tested early. The reflexology-parlor work that would draw 447 reviews in 2018 sits on the extension of this sex-work line.
2017 — Her Second BEST and First Photobook
In her second year, IDEA POCKET already assembled a second BEST. On November 3, 2017, “Peach Fever 8-Hour, Yeah!” streamed. 21 reviews at 4.76. The product description opens like this:
Our idol “Kana Momonogi’s” second BEST!! 10 titles! Curated for the choicest, most memorable moments! A surprising second BEST!
(IDEA POCKET second-BEST official product description, released November 2017)
The label-issued title “our idol” had already settled in by year two. The nickname “Momo-chan” also appears in official copy around the same time. 21 reviews against the first BEST’s 15, average climbing from 4.33 to 4.76 — year two’s response outpaced year one’s.
That same year, on August 19, Futabasha released her first photobook. 96 pages, shot by Katsumi Yamaguchi. Solo output hit 20 titles for the year — a tie for the highest across her entire ten-year career. Her shooting volume peaked here.
2018 — The Year Her Highest-Reviewed Solo Work Landed
On July 14, “No Panties, No Bra, See-Through Cosplay — Divine-Service Idol Reflexology, Teasing Through the Mirror!” streamed. Directed by Zack Arai. Runtime: 164 minutes.
447 reviews. No solo Momonogi work across the decade would beat this. Tags attached: “Hostess / Sex Worker,” “Idol / Celebrity,” “Voyeurism / Peeping.” The core setup: facing a customer through a mirror in a private reflexology-parlor room.
The spike traces back to a setup that closes distance while she stays clothed. The see-through costume never shows everything at once; only the mirror reflects her front. The customer sits where he can’t see her face directly — Momonogi only meets his eyes through the glass. A structure where the gaze never meets head-on holds for all 164 minutes.
Solo output that year was 13 titles, down from 20 the year before. Her biggest response of the decade landed in a year when volume was cut back. This single title’s 447 reviews lead the runner-up — 188, from May 2024 — by more than double. Within the distribution of solo-work review counts, it sits as a clear outlier.
The sample video opens with the customer being shown into the private room and Momonogi entering. What those 447 reviews responded to takes shape in that entrance, a few dozen seconds long. Her single most-reviewed solo work.
On November 8, Futabasha released a second photobook; on November 10, her 3rd-anniversary BEST followed. The 3rd-anniversary compilation drew 24 reviews at 4.63, topping the second BEST’s 21. Pairing a photobook with an anniversary BEST in the same month became fixed practice starting this year.
2019 — The Lewd Nurse and the Origin of Shared Room
On April 7, “24-Hour Oral Cumshots via Mobile Nurse Call! An Instant-Blowjob-Loving Lewd Nurse” streamed. 88 reviews, averaging 4.63, 119-minute runtime. The defining occupation-themed work of the year.
Numbers landed in VR that year too. A June 7 solo VR title drew 135 reviews at 4.25; a July 12 solo VR title drew 179 at 4.47 — response that holds up against flat-video solo works. That 179-review VR figure actually beats her flat-video output for the same year. Her VR work went into full gear from this year on, and she’d go on to become a regular in cross-actress VR BEST compilations.
On December 7, “Business-Trip Shared-Room NTR: A New Hire Made to Cum All Night by Her Insatiable Boss” streamed. 113 reviews at 4.62, 156-minute runtime. The title that started a lineage that would run six years.
The setup is simple: a business-trip inn where only one room got booked. A new hire, and her boss. A structure with no escape, locked in one room until morning. Of the year’s 16 solo titles, this one drew the most votes. Her 4th-anniversary BEST in November drew just 10 reviews at 4.20, the lowest number any anniversary compilation would record. Also the year her freshly shot output outpaced her compilation output.
2020 — A Breakout Year for Shared Room, and Loungewear
On February 8, “Stuck Sharing a Room with a Boss I Despise at a Hot-Spring Inn on a Business Trip…” streamed. 153 reviews at 4.50. A sequel that moved the previous December’s setup to a hot-spring inn. The boss shifted from “insatiable” to “despised” — the emotional premise sharpened by a notch.
On June 11, an 8-hour BEST spanning that lineage came out. 482 reviews — the highest count across all 346 titles carrying Momonogi’s name. Seven performers appear; it’s not one of her solo works. Even so, the numbers gathered around this setup.
The solo-work high is 447; the cross-actress compilation high is 482. Both fall two years apart — July 2018 and June 2020.
A title from a different line lands in between, on April 11: “No Last Train?! Then Come Over to Mine.” 102 reviews, averaging 4.88, 163-minute runtime. The product description’s core comes down to a single line.
Defenseless loungewear, no panties, no bra! And that unbearably cute bare face! Alone together in a locked room, I couldn’t hold back my desire anymore… I lost myself and fucked her over and over! Was this “Momonogi’s” calculated seduction!?
(IDEA POCKET Tissue label official product description, released April 2020)
“Loungewear.” “Bare face.” “Calculated seduction.” Where the shared-room line runs on a passive setup, this one swings active. Both extremes appeared in the same year.
The first few minutes after letting a coworker who missed the last train into the room. The conversation still runs on office momentum; only the distance keeps shrinking. The camera doesn’t follow when she gets up in her loungewear to open the fridge — it waits. When she turns back, her expression seems to have dropped halfway out of her office face.
Among solo works past 100 reviews, this 4.88 average is the highest. The sample video captures the opening — from the front door into the room.
This was also an outlier year with two anniversary BESTs assembled — a forced-orgasm compilation on September 12, and “Super-Climax Sex BEST: 30 Rounds” on November 13. 15 solo titles against 30 compilation appearances — the first year re-edits reached double the fresh output.
2021 — Her 5th Birthday Anniversary, and ‘Nothing Is Eternal’
On February 12, “5th Birthday Anniversary: Kana Momonogi’s 5th BEST — 12 Titles, 24 Rounds, 8 Hours” streamed. Runtime: 477 minutes. The product description includes a striking passage.
[Nothing in this world is eternal. Don’t miss how Momonogi lives it out.] All genres, only the finest scenes included!! “Debuting and retiring — both are the beauty of a fleeting woman called an actress.”
(IDEA POCKET 5th-birthday-anniversary BEST official product description, released February 2021)
“Nothing is eternal.” “Where there’s a beginning, there’s an end.” Four and a half years before retirement, at the 5-year milestone, the label had already put the ending into words. It can be read as standard marketing rhetoric. As it turned out, this foreshadowing became reality with the September 2025 X post.
On June 11, “Record Rainfall Traps Me in a Shared Room with My Virgin Subordinate on a Business Trip…” streamed. 87 reviews at 4.34 — a variation swapping the boss for a subordinate. April 9’s “Stand-In Cum Dump: 10 Days Confined with an Insatiable Yakuza Old Man” drew 87 reviews at 4.31, the same count landing twice in the same year.
Solo output hit 20 titles for the year, tying 2017 for her highest. Compilation appearances: 28. A year when both fresh shoots and re-edits moved at a high level together.
2022 — Ten Costumes and Her 6th-Anniversary BEST
On February 4, “Bare-Breasted Reverse-Bunny-Style 10-Costume Scenario” streamed. Reverse maid, reverse reflexology, reverse cheerleader, reverse gym uniform, reverse nurse, reverse sailor uniform, reverse bunny, reverse police, reverse teacher, and cat. Ten costume types packed into one production. 34 reviews at 4.53, 132-minute runtime.
Among the ten, “reverse reflexology” ties back to the 447-review 2018 work. The setup that drew her biggest solo response gets reprised four years later as one scene in a concept production.
On April 8, “Still Cumming! Still Running! Kana Momonogi’s 6th All-Sex BEST, 8 Hours!” followed. Runtime: 476 minutes. In March, Futabasha released a digital photobook, shot by Kiyoshi Shinohara.
Solo output dropped to 12 titles — a 40 percent cut from the previous year’s 20. Compilation appearances also fell, to 13, making this a year where overall volume itself contracted.
2023 — Output Keeps Narrowing
13 solo titles. That year’s anniversary BEST, “Beauty and Eros at Their Peak — Kana Momonogi ALL SEX BEST, 8 Hours,” came out May 5, running 476 minutes.
In October, a cross-actress compilation (seven performers) built around the June 2021 rainfall work came out. In November, she appeared in a ROOKIE-label 8-hour, 160-round blowjob BEST — one of only three other-label appearances that would place among her top-30 titles by review count, released this year. A second cross-actress VR BEST also came out the same month.
February also saw her included in a father-in-law-themed cross-actress compilation (ten performers). That year, her 13 solo titles were matched by 12 compilation appearances — the only year fresh shoots and re-edits landed at nearly equal counts.
Even as solo output narrowed, the pattern of past works being re-edited into compilations never let up. Compilation appearances climbed back to 26 the following year, 2024, and to 34 in her retirement year. Fewer fresh shoots didn’t mean fewer titles carrying her name. The catalog side had started moving independently of her own shooting schedule.
2024 — A Drama AV, and a Shared-Room Variation
On July 5, “The Seed of Love You Gave Me Blooms Into a Flower in the Winter Night Sky” streamed. Directed by Jou Asagiri. 13 reviews at 4.62, 121-minute runtime. The product description opens at length.
They say fate turns on small encounters. Mine started turning that winter morning, the moment I met her on the school rooftop. “Kana” — innocent as a child, yet always carrying some quiet loneliness. Anxiety, jealousy, anger… the night we came together… and pure love, brought back to life. The finest emotional full-scale drama, woven by drama-AV master “Jou Asagiri” and legendary actress “Kana Momonogi.”
(IDEA POCKET official product description, released July 2024)
A title IDEA POCKET itself crowned with “legendary actress.” Drama AV runs long, a format that’s tough to justify per title on economics alone. Investing in one a year before retirement reveals the label’s own calculation. Of its 121 minutes, the proportion of wordless time runs higher than in her other solo works.
On March 8, “Stuck Sharing a Room with a Sexually Harassing Teacher on a School-Trip Site Inspection…” streamed. 36 reviews at 4.50 — the ninth shared-room entry, shifting the counterpart from boss to teacher. May 10’s “The Iron Man Also Brings ‘Kana Momonogi’ to Full Climax!” drew 188 reviews at 3.97, ranking second among her solo works by review count. High in volume, but the 3.97 average runs low among her top-ranked titles.
On September 6, “Kana Momonogi 8-Hour BEST” streamed, running 481 minutes. Solo output was 10 titles, her lowest year of the decade. Even so, compilation appearances climbed back to 26.
2025 — Her Retirement Year, a Final Push
On April 25, Kodansha released a photobook. The same day, an 8-hour S1 NO.1 STYLE-label special came out. A title under a label outside her exclusive contract, placed in April of her retirement year.
On July 4, “My Wife’s Twisted Kink I Never Knew About…” streamed. 14 reviews at 4.93 — her highest solo-work average of the year.
On September 5, “Ten Years Later, I Still Love ‘Momo-chan’! Kana Momonogi 10th BEST, 12 Hours” came out. Runtime: 706 minutes. Her 10th-anniversary compilation, and the first time the runtime — fixed around 479 minutes until then — stretched to twelve hours. Her retirement was announced 23 days after this release. The timing lands right after her 10th-anniversary compilation dropped.
On September 26, a lewd-teacher title under a SOD Create-affiliated label drew 10 reviews at 4.80. On September 28, she announced retirement on X. On September 30, Oricon ran the breaking news.
On October 10, her retirement finale streamed. 8 reviews at 4.50, 125-minute runtime. The same day, “Kana Momonogi 10th Anniversary: Her First VR BEST” also came out — 478 minutes, 4 reviews at 4.75. Her first VR BEST compilation, assembled in year ten. She’d been in VR continuously since 2019, yet a solo-name VR BEST didn’t come together until her very last month.
On October 24, Takeshobo’s retirement nude photobook . (Period) went on sale. The title’s “period” carried its meaning literally.
16 solo titles in her retirement year, up from the previous year’s 10. Compilation appearances hit 34, also her decade high. In the year retirement was set, the label increased both fresh shoots and re-edits.
Three Outside-Label Appearances — When the Window Opened
Across her ten years exclusive, only three other-label titles rank among her top 30 by review count. Two of the three cluster in her retirement year.
The April 25 S1 NO.1 STYLE title “A Miracle Big-Breasted Beauty Blessed Twice by Heaven: 50 Rounds, 8-Hour All-Performance Special” drew 5 reviews at 5.00. A concept edition packing 50 rounds into eight hours under S1’s own “miracle big-breasted beauty” angle — handling Momonogi’s physicality from an angle distinct from IDEA POCKET’s “our idol.” A non-exclusive actress riding on the planning framework of S1 NO.1 STYLE, which has built up 6,800 titles over 20 years.
The September 26 title from the SOD Create-affiliated “Autumn Stroke-It Strengthening Month” label drew 10 reviews at 4.80. Its description opens with a proper name.
Newly assigned to reform her students, Teacher Momonogi teaches them the hard way — straight through the dick!! One-on-one stimulation, straight to their groins!
(SOD Create “Autumn Stroke-It Strengthening Month” official product description, released September 2025)
A setup carried entirely by the character name “Teacher Momonogi.” She’d played a lewd teacher several times at IDEA POCKET too, but SOD’s house style constructs dialogue differently. The gap between the same role played under different labels becomes visible.
The remaining one is the ROOKIE-label title from November 2023, an 8-hour, 160-round blowjob BEST — 5 reviews at 4.80. Not her retirement year. The precise statement is that two of the three fell within six months of retirement.
What the three share is that none aimed at becoming a series — one-off projects. This shows that the window to shoot outside her exclusive contract stayed open only during limited stretches of the decade. Review counts run 5 to 10 across all three, small next to her major IDEA POCKET titles. The significance lies less in the scale of response than in the fact the window opened at all.
Industry Position — What Ten Years Exclusive at IDEA POCKET Means
Line up her top 30 titles by review count and IDEA POCKET works fill 25 of them. The remaining five: one S1 NO.1 STYLE, one SOD Create-affiliated, one ROOKIE, and two VR-label. 25 of 30 concentrated under a single company.
Genre-tag frequency skews the same way. Across these top 30, in order: “Exclusive Distribution” 30, “High Definition” 21, “Solo Work” 18, “Big Breasts” 18, “Beautiful Girl” 15. She covers both signature tags alone. On the situational side: “NTR” 8, “Lewd Woman” 5, “Kissing” 5, “Slender” 5. More than half carry the solo-work tag, a record that reads as a career run on solo leads rather than ensemble concept pieces.
Demand from the “big breasts” angle surfaces under a different ranking. Sort by raw review count and the ROOKIE-label “This Is the Real Deal — Divine Breasts, 8 Hours,” released December 10, 2021, places third with 281 reviews. She’s one of 54 performers, averaging 3.41. It doesn’t crack the top-30-by-rating list, but ranks high by count.
A B80 measurement isn’t extreme on its own. Set against her 153cm height, the ratio places her in the “big breasts” bracket, and she kept getting called into cross-actress projects built around that bracket.
Her yearly output traces an arc. Solo titles peak at 20 each in 2017 and 2021, drop to 10 in 2024, and climb back to 16 in her retirement year of 2025. Counting compilation appearances, 2025’s 50 titles is her career high. In the year retirement was set, the label re-cut its inventory to raise output.
65 solo titles across the five years from 2015 to 2019; 86 across the six years from 2020 to 2025. One more was added in 2026, the year after retirement, bringing the total to 152. The back half outnumbers the front. This breaks from the typical solo-actress curve — a heavy debut-era push that tapers off afterward. Keeping fresh-shoot volume up through year ten is the defining trait of this career.
A ten-year exclusive is not a common record in this industry. Most solo actresses move labels or retire within two to three years. Staying with the same label for ten years requires the label to keep demand for its marquee name alive, and requires the actress to choose anniversary projects over switching companies.
The reason actresses move is simple — a new label can offer pay above newcomer rates. Staying exclusive requires something to close that gap. For Momonogi, that was a continuous run of anniversary projects.
Year one, a first BEST. Year two, a second BEST. Years three and four, anniversary compilations. Year five, the 5th-birthday-anniversary BEST. Year six, the 6th. Year ten, a 12-hour BEST. The year after retirement, a 45-hour box. The density of milestone BESTs is, by itself, a record of how she was run as flagship merchandise.
Among the 38 exclusives IDEA POCKET has sent out through 193 FIRST IMPRESSION titles over 27 years, a ten-year tenure ranks among the longer ones. The fact that a label cycling through 38 exclusives kept building BEST compilations around one performer for ten straight years says more than any review count.
Where you enter among 346 titles changes how this decade looks. Take in the full run through the 45-hour box. Trace her defining series through six years and ten shared-room titles. Or pick by situation, through her highest-rated standalone works. Depending on which entry point you choose, the same actress shows a different face.
Signature Works — Six Years of Shared Room, and What Surrounds It
The most-repeated setup across Momonogi’s decade was the business-trip shared room.
Shared-Room NTR — 10 Titles Over 6 Years
Ten of her titles carry “shared room” or “hot-spring inn” in the title or series name. Six are solo works; four are multi-actress cross compilations.
It starts with December 2019’s “Business-Trip Shared-Room NTR: A New Hire Made to Cum All Night by Her Insatiable Boss” — 113 reviews at 4.62, 156-minute runtime. Two months later, in February 2020, a sequel moved the setting to a hot-spring inn: 153 reviews at 4.50, 118-minute runtime. That June, a 7-performer 8-hour BEST was assembled — its 482 reviews would become the highest of any title she appears in. That November, a VR version drew 84 reviews at 4.21, 75-minute runtime.
In 2021, April brought inclusion in a 55-performer, 8-hour shared-room BEST. In June, “Record Rainfall Traps Me in a Shared Room…” — swapping the boss for a virgin subordinate — drew 87 reviews at 4.34, 120-minute runtime. In October, a cross-actress compilation of the hot-spring-inn entry (seven performers) drew 280 reviews at 3.81.
In October 2023, a cross-actress compilation of the rainfall entry (seven performers) drew 6 reviews at 4.00. In March 2024, the school-trip entry, shifting the counterpart to a teacher, drew 36 reviews at 4.50, 137-minute runtime. In October 2025, the finale — the boss now doubled to two — drew 8 reviews at 4.50.
Line up the setup’s variations and a sequence emerges. One boss. Hot-spring inn. Subordinate. Teacher. Two bosses. Swapping the counterpart, moving the location, raising the headcount. Only the passive, trapped structure stayed fixed while every variable around it kept moving for six years.
The variables didn’t move at random. The first two entries run on an “insatiable boss,” with the power dynamic coming from rank. When the third swaps in a subordinate, the dynamic shifts from rank to sheer desire. The fourth’s teacher moves the setting from workplace to school trip. In the finale, doubling the boss makes the headcount itself the pressure. The record of the same “room with no way out,” reshot four different ways across six years.
The review distribution skews too. Among the six solo entries, the numbers cluster early — 113 for the 2019 origin, 153 for the 2020 hot-spring-inn entry — then fall to 36 for the 2024 school-trip entry and 8 for the finale. The count keeps declining.
The averages, meanwhile, hold nearly flat across the five flat-video entries — 4.62, 4.50, 4.34, 4.50, 4.50. Add the VR version’s 4.21 and it still doesn’t drop below the low 4.2s. Her reach narrowed, but the rating where it landed didn’t move.
The cross-actress BESTs run the opposite way. 482 reviews in June 2020, 280 in October 2021 — both far past the series’ solo-work high of 153. Votes cluster around the setup, and multiple performers will do. That structure explains part of why compilation appearances kept climbing even as solo-work counts fell.
The series’ highest-reviewed solo entry is February 2020’s hot-spring-inn edition. 153 reviews at 4.50, 118-minute runtime. Tags: “hot spring,” “drenched in sweat,” “NTR.” Built to leave the humidity of a fresh bath on screen. The sample video opens with her arriving at the inn and being told only one room was booked.
Loungewear and the Married Woman — NTR’s Two Extremes
If the shared-room line runs passive, the active counterpart is the “No Last Train?!” title covered earlier. The gap between her wholesome look, her 153cm build, and casting her as the seducer is what drove the numbers.
The other extreme arrives in her retirement year. July 2025’s “My Wife’s Twisted Kink I Never Knew About…” drew 14 reviews at 4.93.
My wife’s past, one I never knew… My beloved wife was actually the neighbor’s masochistic sl●ve. My envied, beloved wife’s past she can’t erase, and the kink she kept hidden.
(IDEA POCKET Tissue label official product description, released July 2025)
A structure that unfolds the wife’s past through the husband’s viewpoint — Momonogi returns fully to the passive side here. After a decade shuttling between seducer and the swept-along, she closed it out at the passive extreme.
January 2025’s “My Share-House Roommate Is…” drew 13 reviews at 4.77. August 2024’s “I Took My Cute, Lewd Junior Coworker Home from the Hotel…” drew 7 at 4.86. Her final two years before retirement lined up works at a middle distance — cohabitation, taking someone home — two titles positioned to fill the gap between shared-room confinement and loungewear’s everyday intimacy.
The Lewd Nurse Line
The April 2019 lewd-nurse title became her go-to occupation-themed setup. Its product description reads in the tone of a hospital announcement:
At our facility, so that patients can focus fully on treatment, each one is assigned a dedicated nurse specializing in sexual relief. Nurses can be summoned any time via a portable nurse call…
(IDEA POCKET Tissue label official product description, released April 2019)
An opening framed as institutional healthcare messaging. This three-layer structure — occupation, lewdness, instant availability — is one IDEA POCKET would go on to vary repeatedly. “Reverse nurse” showing up in the 2022 ten-costume project is a reprise of this same line.
88 reviews, averaging 4.63, 119-minute runtime — the title that drew the most votes for any nurse-and-lewd setup across her decade. Even among her top 30 by review count, the “lewd woman” tag appears just five times, fewer than the “NTR” line’s eight. Not the mainstream by volume, but high in per-title response. The sample video opens with her answering a nurse call and entering the patient’s room.
VR — Six Years From 2019, in Both Solo and Cross-Actress Work
Line up her top 30 by rating and only two are VR-label titles. But rank her top 15 by raw review count, and four are VR works. In a category with a smaller base than flat video, Momonogi’s numbers run large.
It begins June 7, 2019, with “Hold Me Tight — No Panties, No Bra, See-Through Cosplay,” 135 reviews at 4.25 — a title that moved the setup from the previous year’s 447-review reflexology work into VR. The following July 12, “Just for Me — Kana Momonogi All to Myself!” drew 179 reviews at 4.47. Among solo VR works, that 179 remains her decade high.
On November 5, 2020, the VR version of shared-room NTR drew 84 reviews at 4.21, 75-minute runtime. The practice of reshooting flat-video hits in VR began this year.
Cross-actress VR BESTs push the numbers further. The September 30, 2022 “IDEA POCKET VR Ultra BEST” drew 219 reviews at 4.24 across 14 performers. November 10, 2023’s “Ultra BEST 2,” same 14-performer lineup, drew 174 at 4.52. A 14-performer compilation beats her solo VR high of 179. The same structure seen in the shared-room line repeats in VR.
Her solo-name VR BEST was assembled the same day as her retirement finale, October 10, 2025. “10th Anniversary: Her First VR BEST,” 478-minute runtime, 4 reviews at 4.75. Six years in VR, and a solo compilation didn’t come together until her final month.
The BEST-Compilation Lineage — 13 Anniversary BESTs, Roughly One a Year
Kana Momonogi has 13 BEST compilations under her solo name, assembled at a pace of nearly one a year, each marking an anniversary.
- November 2016, “Surprise! Momonogi! 8-Hour BEST” — 15 reviews, 4.33, 479 min (her first BEST)
- November 2017, “Peach Fever 8-Hour, Yeah!” — 21 reviews, 4.76, 479 min
- November 2018, “What Else But an Idol — 8-Hour BEST, Yeah!” — 24 reviews, 4.63, 479 min (3rd anniversary)
- November 2019, “Thank U 4 You — 4th Debut Anniversary!!” — 10 reviews, 4.20, 479 min
- September 2020, “Wailing F●rced Climax — 8-Hour BEST” — 16 reviews, 4.69, 477 min
- November 2020, “Super-Climax Sex BEST: 30 Rounds” — 11 reviews, 4.09, 478 min
- February 2021, “5th Birthday Anniversary — 5th BEST” — 24 reviews, 4.67, 477 min
- April 2022, “6th All-Sex BEST, 8 Hours” — 14 reviews, 4.86, 476 min
- May 2023, “Beauty and Eros at Their Peak — ALL SEX BEST” — 9 reviews, 4.56, 476 min
- September 2024, “Kana Momonogi 8-Hour BEST” — 6 reviews, 4.50, 481 min
- September 2025, “Ten Years Later, I Still Love ‘Momo-chan’! 10th BEST, 12 Hours” — 706 min
- October 2025, “10th Anniversary: Her First VR BEST” — 4 reviews, 4.75, 478 min
- June 2026, “FINAL COMPLETE BEST — 45-Hour Box” — 2,699 min
The review-count trend declines. It peaks at 24 for both the 3rd-anniversary and 5th-birthday-anniversary compilations, then falls to 14, 9, and 6. Averages, though, stay within a 4.09 to 4.86 range with no downward trend. The audience buying anniversary compilations narrowed, but that audience’s rating held.
The runtime trend reveals the label’s own arithmetic. The roughly 479-minute, 8-hour format held nearly fixed for ten years, then stretched to 706 minutes (12 hours) for the 10th anniversary, and finally to 2,699 minutes (45 hours) for the post-retirement summation. After running the 8-hour vessel for a full decade, the label remade the vessel itself twice.
8 hours works out to roughly 10 to 12 titles per compilation. For an actress with 152 solo titles across ten years, an 8-hour vessel only holds 12 at a time. Even 13 anniversary compilations only cover around 150 titles by simple arithmetic. Which means the compilation side had, over ten years, built up a volume roughly matching her total fresh-shoot output. Fitting 107 titles into 45 hours in one go was a move that replaced all that accumulation with a single product.
There’s a mix-up worth clearing up here. A few compilations get miscounted as Momonogi’s personal BESTs elsewhere.
“Ass-Angle Sex BEST” (July 2021). “Sweat & Climax-Soaked Masterpiece Collection: 50 Fuck” (October 2022). “Humiliating R×pe by Father-in-Law — 8-Hour BEST” (February 2023). “Beautiful Facials 145” (January 2025) and “IDEA POCKET 2024: The Ultimate 15-Hour BEST” (February 2025) sometimes get grouped in the same way.
In fact, every one of these is a genre-based cross-actress omnibus with 10 to 24 performers, and Momonogi is just one of the names included. A different category entirely from a solo-name BEST.
The mix-up has a reason behind it. Momonogi is a regular in cross-actress omnibuses, her scenes re-cut into them repeatedly. 13 solo-name compilations and 194 cross-actress inclusions — a decade built with both layers running side by side.
The Photobook Lineage — Ten Years Through Six Books
Six photobooks and digital photobooks can be confirmed as published works. Among AV-actress photobooks, that’s on the higher end for continued publication.
It starts August 19, 2017, with Futabasha’s Kana Momonogi Photobook: “Until the Dream Wakes.” 96 pages, shot by Katsumi Yamaguchi. The following year, November 8, 2018, the same publisher released Premonition: Kana Momonogi Photobook for 3,850 yen, shot by Junichi Seki.
Two straight years, continued publication with a different photographer each time. The very fact that a solo AV-actress photobook priced at 3,850 yen sits on bookstore shelves says something about her standing in year four.
On March 29, 2022, Futabasha’s digital photobook Weekly Taishu Digital Photobook NUDE: 13 streamed, shot by Kiyoshi Shinohara. On October 18, 2024, the same publisher released Wanna Do It Again? Kana Momonogi Digital Photobook, shot by Katsuki Hamada. The medium shifted from print to digital.
The titles alone trace her timeline. From “Until the Dream Wakes” to “Premonition” to “Wanna Do It Again?” A dream, a premonition, an invitation in the present tense. Each book’s language mirrors her standing at that moment. All four Futabasha titles used a different photographer — the same publisher swapped the shooter every time.
In her retirement year, the publisher changes. On April 25, 2025, Kodansha released Kana Momonogi Photobook vol. 3. The publisher’s description reads:
Kana Momonogi, top AV actress, radiating presence through overwhelming cuteness. A beautiful body you’d want to take everything from. Momo-chan, at full adorable throttle, leads you into a new world of nudity.
(Kodansha, Kana Momonogi Photobook vol. 3 publisher description, released April 2025)
Her title here: “top AV actress.” The nickname “Momo-chan” stays intact in the same passage. How gravure media addresses her lands somewhere between her own SNS self-naming (“Team Momonogi”) and her label’s (“our idol”).
The final book: October 24, 2025, Takeshobo’s Kana Momonogi ”. (Period)”. Shot by Susumu Makihara, priced at 4,950 yen. The publisher billed her as a “national goddess” and marketed the shoot as her last before retirement — positioned as the final nude photobook putting a period on ten years since debut.
Four books from Futabasha, one from Kodansha, one from Takeshobo. Eight years and two months, starting with Futabasha in her second year and closing with Takeshobo in her retirement month. That two publishers besides Futabasha stepped in specifically during her retirement year reveals her year-ten market value. A closing chapter marked from the bookstore-distribution side.
Jou Asagiri, Ebisu Muscats, IDEA POCKET PR — Collaborators Behind the Scenes
Kana Momonogi’s decade can’t be drawn with her alone.
One is director Jou Asagiri. His work on the 2024 drama AV, and the caption IDEA POCKET itself attached: “master of drama AV.” Cases where an AV director gets called a master in official copy are rare. His direction runs long-form, holds long gaps between cuts, and leaves wordless stretches. A record of Momonogi’s acting adapting to that format survives from one year before her retirement.
The name of Zack Arai, who directed the 2018 reflexology work that drew 447 reviews, also stands out — the person who shot the single title that gathered the most votes. Among every director who shot her 152 solo titles across the decade, few names survive alongside the numbers.
The second is Ebisu Muscats. The group she joined in autumn 2015 mixes AV actresses, gravure idols, and talents. Terrestrial-TV variety shows, live performances, CDs, tours. A visibility channel that went beyond AV promotion alone, and one that pushed her early-career recognition up a notch.
Airi Kijima, who joined the same group as a 9th-generation member in 2012 and served 12 years exclusive at IDEA POCKET, retired from AV in August 2025. Momonogi’s retirement came two months later. Two performers who came into IDEA POCKET through Muscats left the field within the same year, one after the other.
Kijima’s own pick for her signature work is “No Last Train? Come Over to Mine, Then?” — a lover waiting at home, missing the last train, greeted by loungewear with no panties, no bra. The setup nearly overlaps with Momonogi’s “No Last Train?! Then Come Over to Mine,” which drew 102 reviews at 4.88 in April 2020. The only difference: a beautiful boss versus a coworker. The same label handed the same concept to two performers of the same origin, in different years.
The third is IDEA POCKET’s PR itself. “Our idol” in 2017. “Legendary actress” in 2024. “Complete Finale” in 2026. The words the same PR team gave the same actress shifted through three stages over nine years.
The SNS Numbers — A Measured 4.1 Million Against a Stated 3.5 Million
X account @Kana_Momonogi carried 2,102,000 followers as of May 2026, with 59,000 cumulative posts. Instagram’s @kana_momonogi carried 2 million followers and 3,220 posts. Add them together and you get 4.1 million.
The 45-hour box’s product description, though, states “over 3.5 million total SNS followers.” The October 2025 first VR BEST carries the same 3.5 million figure in its description. A more conservative number than the measured total was the one chosen for official copy. It could read as an estimate netting out overlapping followers, or as an old figure left unupdated. Either way, a gap of 600,000 sits between the official figure and the measured one.
59,000 posts over ten years works out to more than 16 a day. An image-driven operation with minimal text. That one- or two-word posts like “texture” or “hey there” pull millions of views is a result of accumulated follower count making word count unnecessary.
Her posting continued after retirement. In an April 22, 2026 post, she wrote about her physical condition.
Lately I’ve been freed from the obsession that I have to stay thin, and I’m gaining weight just fine I used to get told I was too skinny a lot, but I’m a lot healthier now! I still love eating just as much, so building muscle while staying healthy is my goal right now
(Her X post, April 22, 2026)
“Freed from the obsession that I have to stay thin.” The first change someone who maintained a “camera-ready” body for ten years chose to describe after retirement compresses into that one phrase. Set against “Jiro / shaved ice” leading her bio and “competitive eating” in her hobbies, it reads as a long tension between a natural relationship with food and the professional demand to maintain a body type.
Her fan club continues as Community No. 6333 on fanicon, linked directly from her X bio. A design keeping the “Kana Momonogi” name active after retirement, built across both SNS and fan-club channels.
Life After Retirement — ‘In a New Form’
What she chose in her retirement announcement wasn’t a complete exit.
It’s lonely to put a period on something I’ve kept going for ten years, but I’m grateful I was able to reach the goal of ten years exclusive at IDEA POCKET, and for every encounter and every bit of support along the way! I am retiring! But I’ll keep working, step by step, so I can appear before you all again as “Kana Momonogi,” in a new form.
(Her comment, as quoted in an Oricon article published September 30, 2025)
She chose the phrase “as a goal.” It reads as ten years exclusive having been set as her own target too, not just the label’s. Whether she saw it coming from her debut, or started thinking about it around the 5th-anniversary’s “nothing is eternal,” isn’t clear. What’s certain is that “achieving ten years exclusive” and “retirement” landed together, folded into one announcement.
The same comment includes another line: “I’ll keep updating SNS and so on, mostly unchanged.” In practice, posting hasn’t stopped, through the April 2026 weight-gain update and beyond. What “retirement” refers to is “no longer appearing in new AV titles” — not a halt to everything, brand, SNS, and gravure included.
Reports have surfaced in 2026 of a photo event in Taiwan and appearances on web programs. Since no primary announcement has been confirmed, this piece stops short of stating it as fact. Still, with 2 million Instagram followers and 2.1 million on X still in hand, her own posts suggest her footing has started shifting toward fields outside AV.
How to Watch Her — Tracing Ten Years Through the Numbers
- If you want to start from the debut moment: “FIRST IMPRESSION 89” (October 2015). Entry 89 in the flagship newcomer series, 47 reviews at 4.43. A record of her at 18, in autumn.
- If you want the title that drew the most votes: “Divine-Service Idol Reflexology” (July 2018). Her solo-work high of 447 reviews. The numbers spiked on a clothed, mirror-framed setup.
- If you want to trace her defining series: The hot-spring-inn shared-room entry (February 2020). The series’ solo-work high of 153 reviews at 4.50. Near the origin of a six-year arc running from one boss to two.
- If you want the highest-rated titles first: “No Last Train?! Then Come Over to Mine” (April 2020). The highest average, 4.88, among solo works past 100 reviews.
- If you want to see what happened at each milestone: The 5th-birthday-anniversary BEST (February 2021, 24 reviews, 4.67) and the 6th All-Sex BEST (April 2022, 14 reviews, 4.86). The period when foreshadowing of retirement entered the official copy.
- If you want the full picture in one sweep: FINAL COMPLETE BEST (June 2026). 107 titles, 2,699 minutes.
Solo works outside all six of these remain — the April 2021 confinement title, the January 2025 share-house title, the August 2024 junior-coworker title. Three titles to turn to once you’ve worked through the shared-room line and the BEST compilations.
Even After the Complete Finale, New Releases Keep Coming
On June 5, 2026, the 45-hour box set streamed. The first line of its product description reads:
Complete Finale. Every genre, every title from IDEA POCKET’s popular series, all included!! This is the last chance to see “Kana Momonogi.”
(IDEA POCKET FINAL COMPLETE BEST official product description, released June 2026)
Runtime: 2,699 minutes. Converted, that’s 44.98 hours, nearly matching the stated 45. 107 IDEA POCKET titles from ten years, folded into one product.
Priced at 4,880 yen for the streaming version, 4,380 yen for download. Divide the download price by 2,699 minutes and it comes to roughly 1.6 yen a minute. The 500-yen gap is the price of keeping a copy. Buying the 107 titles individually would run the total into a different order of magnitude entirely. Retirement stopped new supply — this 107-title count will never grow beyond what it is now.
About two months after release, it still has zero reviews. How viewers will rate it remains unknown for now. Reviews on her 13 BEST compilations across ten years ranged from as many as 24 in a good year to as few as 4. There’s no precedent for how many votes a 45-hour-long product will draw.
Outside that “last chance to see” line, meanwhile, Momonogi’s name keeps turning up. On June 5, 2026, she’s one of 41 performers included in ROOKIE’s “40 Picks of S-Rank Girls.” July 10 brings two titles the same day: a 20-performer lewd-woman BEST and a 28-performer, 7-hour orgy BEST. August 7 has a new 18-performer title scheduled for release. Titles carrying her name since the start of 2026 already number 11.
“Complete Finale” as a solo-work label runs alongside ongoing use of her as a scene-level catalog asset. Two months after the month billed as her last chance to see, her name still shows up on a new title. The August 7 release hasn’t streamed yet.
These two layers ran side by side for the full decade. 152 solo titles against 194 compilation inclusions — re-edits outnumber fresh shoots. Retirement stopped only one of the two. Shooting ended; re-editing continues. What “Complete Finale” precisely refers to is the single fact that nothing new is being shot.
Play the 45 hours straight through and the decade doesn’t line up in order. 2015’s freshness and 2025’s finale sit next to each other, sorted by genre rather than time. The same actress at 18 and at 28 swaps places every few minutes on the same screen. Inside a vessel that folds ten years into one, the sense of chronological order seems to dissolve. Ten years running a 479-minute vessel, stretched to 706, and finally expanded to 2,699 — what remained at the end was 45 hours with no order left.
107 titles. 2,699 minutes. The endpoint of her 13th milestone BEST, and its sample video runs as a digest cutting across every title it collects.
Who Kana Momonogi Is For
- Anyone tracking the shared-room / hot-spring-inn line: 10 titles over 6 years — 6 solo works, 4 cross-actress compilations. Follow the counterpart swapping from boss to subordinate to teacher to two bosses, in order of review count.
- Anyone who wants big-breasts and beautiful-girl tags on one performer: 153cm, B80/W54/H80. Among her top 30 titles by rating, “Big Breasts” (18) and “Beautiful Girl” (15) both apply at once. Few actresses satisfy both tags in a single title.
- Anyone who wants to follow an actress through her milestone BESTs: 13 compilations, from her first BEST in 2016 through the 5th in 2021, the 6th in 2022, the 10th in 2025, up to the 45-hour box in 2026. Also traceable is how the label’s PR language shifted through three stages over nine years.
- Anyone who wants to follow her beyond AV: 2.1 million on X, 2 million on Instagram, six photobooks, a fan club on fanicon. Her name stays active after retirement, so she can be followed long-term.
An Ending Still in Progress
Ten years exclusive. 346 total appearances. 152 solo titles. A 45-hour box holding 107 of them.
Kana Momonogi’s numbers rank at the very top of what an AV-actress career can post. Even after she left the field in October 2025, her name keeps turning up on new titles. The 18-performer title scheduled to stream August 7, 2026, is, for now, her latest entry.
The setup she repeated most across ten years was the business-trip shared room. She closed that lineage in a finale that doubled the boss from one to two, then folded 107 titles into one the following year. The 45 hours crowned “Complete Finale” now sits on the shelf as the definitive edition. Even so, on the cross-actress omnibus side, scene re-editing hasn’t stopped. In a place carrying the name “finale,” only distribution keeps going, present tense.
Free video sites will still turn up “Kana Momonogi” in search results. It’s possible to pass through on nothing but sample videos and review counts. But there’s also the option of keeping the record of someone who completed ten years exclusive through the proper channel. What supports whatever “new form” she writes about next is that purchase record, not the free stream.
In her April 2026 post, she named “building muscle while staying healthy” as her current goal. What does someone who spent ten years maintaining a “camera-ready” body choose to put on camera next? What fit inside the 45-hour vessel was only the ten years that came before.
