AV DEBUT(STAR)
105 Debut Works — The Actresses Who Walked Through SODstar’s Gate
In March 2012, 18-year-old 紗倉まな (Sakura Mana) debuted from SODstar. She was still enrolled at a technical college. Fourteen years later, in March 2026, solo artist 七瀬温 (Nanase Non) debuted from the same series. Between them: 103 debut works.
The series is called “AV DEBUT(STAR).” It collects the very first title from each actress launched under SOD Create’s exclusive label, SODstar. Sixteen years since its 2010 launch, 105 titles in total. Gravure idols, former entertainers, active college students, a national-level competitive swimmer, a wedding planner, an 18-year-old factory worker. Backgrounds and ages vary wildly, yet every one of them passed through this same gate.
Line up all 105 titles chronologically, and a pattern emerges: what SOD Create was looking for in each era, what kind of woman it wanted to position as a star. A debut work functions as both a calling card and a mission statement. Title formatting, the presence or absence of taglines, how prominently a previous career is featured — all of it shifts from era to era.
Where S1’s debut series has consistently pursued a visual-elite aesthetic, SODstar’s debut works sell the person. The surprise factor of a resume, the gap between a day job and adult video, the pivot from mainstream entertainment. Not the specs of the product, but which slice of an actress’s life gets turned into a title. That editorial philosophy and its evolution over 16 years are etched clearly into this archive.
The Raw Talent Era — 2010 to 2016
The series began in October 2010 with Nina’s debut. 2011 brought SARAH, 前田かおり (Maeda Kaori), 片桐えりりか (Katagiri Eririka), and 神野はづき (Jinno Hazuki) at a pace of four to five titles per year. Titles from this period are uniformly plain: “AV Debut Maeda Kaori,” “AV Debut SARAH.” Just a name and the declaration of debut. The unadorned titles speak to a fledgling label still finding its identity.
The turning point came in 2012: 紗倉まな (Sakura Mana) in March, 牧瀬みさ (Makise Misa) in April, 麻生希 (Aso Nozomi) in July, 一条綺美香 (Ichijo Kimika) in October, 古川いおり (Furukawa Iori) in December. Five debuts in a single year. 一条綺美香 debuted at 48 — an extraordinary outlier. A signature title from the era when SODstar did not shy away from age range.
紗倉まな’s impact stood apart. Her FANZA listing carries 90 reviews with a 4.30 average. The fact that a debut work released over a decade ago still accumulates reviews at this rate means new viewers continue to discover it. Her background — an 18-year-old enrolled in a technical college — drew mainstream media attention and became the first case where the SODstar name reached audiences outside the adult industry. 古川いおり, who debuted in December, holds 49 reviews at 4.22. With her refined looks and intellectual persona, she went on to build a long career and remains active on the front lines. That both 紗倉まな and 古川いおり walked through SODstar’s gate in 2012 cemented this series’ depth as a catalog.
紗倉まな’s success redefined the series’ stature. In July 2013, 白石茉莉奈 (Shiraishi Marina) debuted under the “Celebrity” banner — 52 reviews, 4.25 average. December 2014 brought 松岡ちな (Matsuoka China) at 66 reviews and 4.38; February 2013 saw 吉川あいみ (Yoshikawa Aimi) at 43 reviews and 4.00. A succession of high-profile newcomers, each with a different appeal, followed the path 紗倉まな had opened.
2016 became a landmark year for the series. 市川まさみ (Ichikawa Masami) in March (50 reviews, 4.04), 戸田真琴 (Toda Makoto) in November (29 reviews, 3.59), 桐谷まつり (Kiritani Matsuri) in December (82 reviews, 4.28). 戸田真琴’s debut numbers may look modest by review count alone. Yet after graduating from SODstar, she published essays and directed a feature-length film — a rare figure who expanded her activity well beyond the adult industry. A clear example of how debut numbers fail to predict the scale of a subsequent career. 桐谷まつり debuted as part of the Magic Mirror (マジックミラー号) 20th anniversary celebration, generating buzz with her I-cup physique. Layering a debut work onto a series milestone was a staging maneuver only SOD Create would attempt.
Approximately 30 titles across those seven years. That works out to four or five new talents unearthed annually. Titles remained consistently simple — name only, no embellishment. 秋葉あかね (Akiba Akane), debuting January 2016 (55 reviews, 4.31), and 南真菜果 (Minami Manaka), December 2015 (55 reviews, 4.35), followed the same pattern. The unspoken policy of letting raw talent speak for itself maps the atmosphere of early SODstar exactly.
All early titles carry the product code sequence “1star00***.” From Nina’s 200-range to 紗倉まな’s 300-range — the lower the number, the deeper into the series’ history. This numbering system shifted to the “1stars00***” range with 成宮りか (Narimiya Rika) at the end of 2018, then migrated to the “1start00***” range starting with 彩月七緒 (Satsuki Nanao) in 2024. Even the product codes encode the label’s generational changes.
In retrospect, this first phase was the period when SODstar was still exploring what kind of label it would become. 紗倉まな’s success revealed a direction, 白石茉莉奈 opened the celebrity route, and 戸田真琴 and 桐谷まつり expanded the options further. The stance of sending talent out with nothing but a name, trusting in the raw material — that would change dramatically in the next era.
Building the Brand — 2017 to 2021
Starting in 2017, the character of debut works began to shift. 神坂ひなの (Kamisaka Hinano) in July, 竹田ゆめ (Takeda Yume) in October, 三田杏 (Mita An) in November (38 reviews, 4.47), 小倉由菜 (Ogura Yuna) in December (73 reviews, 4.22). High-quality newcomers clustered in rapid succession. 小倉由菜’s 73 reviews ranked second in SODstar debut history at the time, behind only 紗倉まな (90 reviews).
2018 marked a turning point for the series. In May, 本庄鈴 (Honjo Suzu) debuted under the title “Thanks to All of You. AV DEBUT.” 110 reviews, 4.15 average. The first time any title in the series broke triple digits, surpassing 紗倉まな’s 90. “Thanks to All of You” signaled that SOD Create had staged her debut as a collaborative project with viewers. The shift from simple name-only titles to ones carrying narrative and gratitude was no accident — it reflected a new awareness within the label of orchestrating debut works as events.
In June of the same year, 唯井まひろ (Tadai Mahiro) debuted at 18 (85 reviews, 4.51). A 4.51 average ranked among the highest in the series at the time. November brought 成宮りか (Narimiya Rika), and July saw 羽田あい (Haneda Ai) return as “Re:DEBUT” — a format where an actress who had left the industry re-entered through SODstar’s gate. A one-of-a-kind entry in the series. The era had arrived where four to five people passed through the gate each year, each debut work imbued with its own story.
From 2019 to 2020, title experimentation accelerated further. 永野いち夏 (Nagano Ichika) in June 2019 (103 reviews, 3.71) reached triple-digit reviews despite a straightforward title. 青空ひかり (Aozora Hikari) in October (82 reviews, 4.43) maintained consistently high ratings, while 白川ゆず (Shirakawa Yuzu) in December (42 reviews, 4.50) earned a strong 4.50 for her debut at age 18.
Running parallel to this conventional approach, SODstar launched a bold experiment in 2020. 夏目響 (Natsume Hibiki), released in April, carried the title “She Has No Name Yet. Emergency Release.” Releasing a title with the actress’s name withheld was unprecedented across all 105 entries. 132 reviews, 4.13 average. The mystery of the name itself became a purchase motivator — a logic inversion. 宮島めい (Miyajima Mei) in July pushed even further: “AV Debut. But I’m Retiring After This.” A title declaring both debut and retirement in a single work. 65 reviews, 4.08. The contradiction of a debut that was simultaneously a final work created an irresistible pull. December brought 花丸くるみ (Hanamaru Kurumi, 47 reviews, 4.13), who entered via the OPPAI Grand Prix 2020 contest. SODstar’s debut series had mutated from straightforward newcomer introductions into “content that tells a story through its title.”
Then in June 2021, MINAMO appeared under the tagline “Super Rookie.” 245 reviews, 4.18 average. At debut, her review count surpassed both 紗倉まな and 本庄鈴, recording one of the highest opening numbers in the series’ history. Television appearances, social media presence, and the fact that she had applied on her own initiative rather than being scouted. MINAMO’s arrival marked the inflection point where a SODstar debut transformed into “an event consumed as industry news.”
In February of the same year, 柊木楓 (Hiiragi Kaede, 100 reviews, 4.30) debuted under the tagline “This girl turned out to be a wolf in sheep’s clothing!” — a pioneer of gap-based taglines selling the contrast against a wholesome appearance. 朝田ひまり (Asada Himari) in March (79 reviews, 4.42) had “The shortest in SODstar history at 147cm” stamped into the title, foregrounding a physical spec. アンナ (Anna) in June (125 reviews, 4.26) let the tagline “A body that moves you” carry the entire pitch. July saw both 青木桃 (Aoki Momo), a top competitive swimmer (155 reviews, 4.29), and 天宮花南 (Amamiya Kanan), an active gravure model (66 reviews, 4.15), debut in the same month. An athlete and a gravure model — contrasting backgrounds landing side by side revealed the breadth of SODstar’s scouting reach.
Eight debuts in 2021 alone, seven of them averaging above 4.0. The sole exception was 真白美生 (Mashiro Mio, 28 reviews, 3.61), but seven out of eight clearing 4.0 represents a hit rate that stands out even against other labels’ debut series. 2021 was the year SODstar became recognized as “the label where debut works rarely disappoint.”
Diversifying the Gateway — 2022 to 2026
In the 12 years from 2010 to 2021, the series accumulated roughly 60 titles. In the five years from 2022 onward, approximately 45 more were added. An average of nine per year — double the early pace of four to five. The entry paths diversified just as rapidly. Beyond traditional scouting, auditions, mainstream entertainment crossovers, social media outreach, and even internal company transfers all became viable routes into SODstar.
In March 2022, ローレン花恋 (Lauren Karen) and 西元めいさ (Nishimoto Meisa) debuted simultaneously. April brought 新海咲 (Shinkai Saki), a national competitive swimming representative (41 reviews, 3.80), former entertainer 瀬乃みなみ (Seno Minami), and Marunouchi office worker 多香良 (Takara, 21 reviews, 4.10) — five newcomers in just two months. In June, 神木麗 (Kamiki Rei), winner of the Magic Mirror Cinderella Audition Grand Prix (126 reviews, 4.64), debuted under the pseudonym “Shiori (tentative), age 22.” M-cup 恋渕ももな (Koibuchi Momona), active wedding planner 浜辺栞帆 (Hamabe Shiho), and 百仁花 (Monika, 22 reviews, 4.86 — the highest rating in series history) followed. 星乃莉子 (Hoshino Riko) in September debuted under the “Active Patissier” tagline, garnering 248 reviews at 4.54. The title’s specificity, referencing her skills on top, stands in stark contrast to the restraint of the early-era titles.
The approach of foregrounding previous careers and backgrounds became standardized in 2022. Patissier, wedding planner, Marunouchi office worker, competitive swimmer, cosplayer. SODstar debut works shifted to a format that answers “Who is this actress?” through occupation. If the early-era simple titles sold by “name,” this era sells by “story.” 初芽 (Hatsume) in November carried the tagline “A phantom beauty — only one shoot was possible.” 142 reviews, 4.25. The allure of scarcity. One of the sharpest pieces of copywriting in the entire SODstar catalog.
In 2023, the series produced the single highest-impact entry in its history. September: 渚恋生 (Nagisa Koiki)‘s debut. After retiring from the entertainment industry, she moved directly to SODstar. 323 reviews, 4.53 average. 323 is the runaway highest count across all 105 titles — nearly 80 reviews ahead of second-place MINAMO (245). Her mainstream fame translated directly into opening-day purchase volume. The title: “Immediately After Retiring from Show Business, AV Debut.” No embellishment needed when the fact itself is the tagline.
What those 323 reviews reveal is that SODstar debut works now reach not just adult video fans but entertainment fans as well. From 白石茉莉奈 (52 reviews) in 2013 to 矢埜愛茉 (Yano Ama, 213 reviews) in 2024, review counts for celebrity debut works quadrupled in a decade. Evidence that SODstar is solidifying its position as a landing pad for entertainment-industry crossovers.
That same year brought cosplayer 春野ゆこ (Haruno Yuko) with 180,000 followers (52 reviews, 3.98), active gravure model 十束るう (Totsuka Ruu, 26 reviews, 3.96), and 稲荷ある (Inari Aru, 23 reviews, 4.61) — a diverse set of backgrounds. 綾瀬天 (Ayase Ten) in November debuted under the tagline “Genius-level sexiness” (64 reviews, 4.31).
In January 2024, 彩月七緒 (Satsuki Nanao) debuted with the title “From College Student to Star: A Cinderella Story Begins Now.” 83 reviews, 4.72 average. Among titles with 50 or more reviews, this is the highest rating in series history. 4.72 trails 百仁花’s 4.86 (22 reviews), but the sample size is nearly four times larger. A 4.72 produced by a large number of satisfied viewers leaving reviews represents a peak achievement for an SODstar debut work.
葵ななせ (Aoi Nanase) from the same month (33 reviews, 3.21) drew divided opinions. Her G-cup visuals earned praise, but the debut work’s overall cohesion proved contentious. 矢埜愛茉 (Yano Ama) in February (213 reviews, 4.36) reached the second-highest celebrity debut review count after 渚恋生. 椎名心春 (Shiina Koharu) in March (44 reviews, 4.66) arrived with a title that began: “This spring, you will fall in love with her.” The full title: “Refined features, 9-head-proportions E-cup, exceptional sensuality, a pure heart — a former hotelier who is three-star in every way.” Sixteen years from the early “Name + AV Debut” format, the titles themselves had evolved into prose.
In April, 柴崎はる (Shibasaki Haru), a former SOD female employee, debuted by transitioning into SODstar. The route from within SOD’s own ranks to its exclusive actress label was formally established — a pathway without parallel at any other studio. June brought influencer 魅音 (Mion, 10 reviews, 3.50). Review numbers and ratings were modest, but a new channel had opened: influencers with established social media followings entering the fold.
Debut pace accelerated further into 2025. 天音かんな (Amane Kanna) in February (22 reviews, 4.45) was billed as “An 18-year-old factory girl.” 一宮るい (Ichinomiya Rui) in March (45 reviews, 4.53) was “The idol of her hometown Shizuoka,” with a tagline noting she climaxed for the first time during her first shoot. 天神羽衣 (Tenjin Hagoromo) in April (49 reviews, 4.43) was “The sexiest, cutest girl in Fukuoka.” 新川空 (Shinkawa Sora) in July (60 reviews, 4.48) was “A home economics teacher raised on a remote island in Okinawa.” Shizuoka, Fukuoka, Okinawa. A format that might be called “regional debuts” — foregrounding hometowns — became the signature of 2025. Coming from outside Tokyo now functioned as a tagline in its own right.
In September, 小笠原菜乃 (Ogasawara Nano) debuted as “I-cup, the ultimate golden-ratio body, a rookie gravure idol” (32 reviews, 4.28). The gravure-to-adult crossover route had precedents in 白石茉莉奈, 天宮花南, and 十束るう, but placing the I-cup spec at the very front of the title follows the “spec-forward title” format established from 2022 onward.
In March 2025, the label name changed from SODstar to SODSTAR, with a redesigned logo. The following year, in March 2026, 七瀬温 (Nanase Non) debuted as a solo artist in the series’ latest entry (27 reviews, 4.37). The title “SODSTAR x Solo Artist - Celebrity” represents the newest iteration of the entertainment-crossover pipeline. Even as the branding changed, the series name “AV DEBUT(STAR)” remained intact.
Sixteen years’ worth of 105 titles sit on FANZA as a single archive. From Nina in 2010 to 七瀬温 in 2026. Past marquee actresses’ debut works and the latest SODSTAR newcomers are all browsable under one series name. By their very nature as debut works, each title captures the boundary between “who she was before” and “who she became as an actress.” Open any of the 105, and there she is — a woman who had not yet become anyone.
Who This Series Is For
- Interested in SODstar but overwhelmed by 105 titles: Start with the highest-rated works from each era and you will not go wrong. 紗倉まな’s origin, MINAMO’s impact, 彩月七緒’s latest standard — pick one per era and the full picture of the label comes into focus
- Haven’t seen your favorite actress’s debut work yet: Even if you discovered an actress after a label transfer or through her later titles, the SODstar debut carries a first-time nervousness and freshness found nowhere else. Comparing 戸田真琴, 本庄鈴, or MINAMO’s debuts against their later work reveals the growth gap
- Following celebrity and influencer crossover releases: 渚恋生, 矢埜愛茉, 白石茉莉奈, 七瀬温 — entertainment-industry crossover works are concentrated in this series. The definitive entry point for tracking the intersection of mainstream and adult entertainment
- Comparing talent scouting across labels: Line this up against S1 or Prestige debut series, and SODstar’s distinctive approach stands out. Building narratives around careers and backgrounds, making the debut work itself function as standalone content — this methodology is virtually absent from other labels
Summary
105 titles. Every first step SODstar has taken over 16 years is contained in this single series.

Follow the evolution of the titles alone, and the trajectory of SODstar’s growth reveals itself.
The majority of debut works average above 4.0 in reviews, and from 渚恋生’s 323 reviews to 柏木のぞみ (Kashiwagi Nozomi)‘s 9, fan enthusiasm has shifted with each era.
