The original is a doujin title called “はーとまーく多め。,” which has sold 600,000 copies total across the series. The live-action version contains all of it and runs 148 minutes.
There’s a scene where the colored covers of both the first and second volumes of the original doujin appear side by side on screen. The credit line reading “Author: Isasada Miyamoto Circle: NOSEBLEED” also appears on screen. Who drew what and who is performing it is fully disclosed without concealment.
The screen is divided left and right nearly throughout. Black-and-white manga panels on one side, live-action footage on the other. The dialogue is placed at a readable size, with lines like “Don’t say you don’t want it…” visible at a glance.
Looking at what she wears makes the reason for this layout clear. A cow-spotted bikini on a white background. A collar with a bell. Glasses. Twin tails parted left and right.
