This is one line from Yano Ema’s debut work. The text surrounding it is written entirely in first person. “I had always been conflicted.” “I believed that sex was something to hide.” “I will look forward and move ahead.” The distribution began on February 6, 2024.

On April 28, 2026, she posted a long message on X.

Our label may have just changed, but now that I’m turning 30 this year, I’ve become stronger in my desire to move to a new phase when thinking about my future.

It was news of her retirement. Only three months had passed since her transfer.

Near the end of that same message, it explains what kind of retirement this is.

As an AV actress, Yano Ema marks a turning point, but I will continue my activities.

A farewell that ends with “I will continue” is not uncommon. But this message spelled out exactly what she would continue. Things she wanted to do, things she wants to do from here. Listed, one by one.

When that list is held up against September 2026, almost everything exists as a real thing. Radio updates every week. The second photobook comes out in October. An exhibition was held. What she wrote exists in the order she wrote it.

Birthplace and hobby don’t appear in the DMM actress database. They remain blank there. Instead, these two details show up in her debut work. In a room at dusk, arms and legs wrapped in checked fabric appear onscreen. On the right side of that frame, three lines of white text overlap: Birthplace: Tokyo. Hobby: Photography. Height: 146 cm.

The official language about her body settles on two descriptions. One is “Charmed by Yano Ema, who has a petite body and is cute and talkative.” The other is “Ema’s plump, soft body becomes drenched in eroticism.” 146 cm, with a thickness that contradicts that height. Both phrases repeat throughout her two years.

The “talkative” part doesn’t quite match her self-assessment.

I’m shy by nature, but once my work switch is on, I can talk to anyone.

That’s what she says — if she switches gears, she can talk. The language attached to her works refers only to the switched-on side.

Of her 33 works, SOD Create accounts for 27, Madonna for 4, and Rebecca image videos for 2. One of Madonna’s four titles is VR, and SOD released 2 VR works as well; everything else is solo work with a single performer. Her most frequent tags are drama, fellatio, Idol & Celebrity AV, and housewife/married woman, in that order — a direct reflection of the variety of occupations she’s assigned in roles.

Her debut work released on February 6, 2024; her final work on May 22, 2026. That span of two years and three and a half months holds 33 releases.

After Dropping the Maeda Misato Name

A Middle Schooler Sending Resumes on Her Own

Until January 2024, this woman was known as Maeda Misato. She started working in entertainment at age fifteen. She describes how she got her start:

Since middle school, I’d buy audition magazines and send résumés to all kinds of places on my own

No one discovered her. She bought the magazines herself, put them in envelopes with her own hands, and mailed them. For a middle schooler to do this alone was labor-intensive work. She spoke briefly about who she was then:

Honestly, I think I wasn’t thinking about much of anything back then. I was really just a kid, you know?

In 2014, she was selected as a Nippon Television Genic finalist — a slot the network reserved each year for its chosen face. Maeda Misato’s name appeared on that list.

Later, she stepped away from entertainment for a while and worked at an advertising company for a year. It was office work, sitting at a computer making documents.

Day after day, the same time, the same tasks over and over — that routine life was making my mood darker and darker

Arriving at the same time, doing the same work. She felt that darkness accumulating. The girl who had once bought audition magazines as a middle schooler ended up at a fixed desk at a fixed time for a year.

I’d spend entire days at the office without talking to anyone, eating lunch alone, and after repeating that for a while, I started thinking, “Maybe this just isn’t for me”

A full day without speaking to anyone. Alone for lunch. Out of that accumulation came a single conclusion. After leaving the company, she returned to entertainment work. The focus shifted to gravure DVDs and stage performances.

The announcement of her move into AV came on January 9, 2024, and her name changed at the same time. The publisher’s announcement put the contract amount in the headline:

“Nippon Television Genic 2014” idol Yano Ema makes a splash with a ¥100 million contract — debuts with her first full nude photo collection!

The number one hundred million yen walked around on its own at that moment.

The Sea, and First-Person Narration on a Black Screen

Eleven days after her debut, in a magazine interview, she explained why she made the move:

I’ve been in entertainment for thirteen years, but I felt like I’d hit a ceiling — that I couldn’t grow any further

Thirteen years is what she counted as of February 2024, when the interview took place. From fifteen to twenty-eight. She was saying she couldn’t see beyond that thirteen-year point. In the same interview, she said something else:

Lately, women in adult entertainment have been expanding what they can do career-wise, and that encouraged me too

She didn’t come because something closed. She came because something was opening. That’s how she framed it.

Her debut work carried this line:

Because I chose AV of my own accord, I want to have real sex and make people come.

In the work itself, she takes a long time to say it.

She sits in front of a white curtain, wearing a light green short-sleeved blouse. This framing returns again and again, and each time her clothes stay the same.

In one shot of the same room, her eyes are closed. In another, a wreath-shaped decorative frame overlays the image, text inside it. A festival of idols, the ground-broadcast television Genic Grand Prix, 2014. Ten years of history in the form of a certificate-like treatment inside a scene where she’s undressed.

There are exterior shots. Just sea and sky, one frame. She stands turned to the side in a white-strapped top. On the evening beach, two silhouettes appear, standing at the waterline. The backlit silhouette in a blue gingham check dress shows only its outline. In another shot, the same dress, in darkness, lying back with eyes closed.

Throughout, text keeps appearing on screen. Always, there had been conflict. She had convinced herself that sexuality was something to hide. She wanted to release her desires more. Challenge is the path I walk. Moving forward, eyes ahead.

Once, the camera operator appears in the frame. A black lens in the foreground, and beyond it, in a white room, standing in a pink and white bikini. The person being filmed is captured in the frame along with the equipment filming her. A caption appears for that moment mentioning a hobby of photography, but it’s a different scene.

On an evening rooftop, she wears a beige knit, turned to the side. On a bed by a window, she wraps a checked cloth around herself, hugging her knees, sitting. Outside the window is the evening cityscape.

One frame holds only black screen and white text, which reads: “Wait for me, new self.”

44,510 people had added it to their favorites (as of September 2026). It’s more than twice the next most-popular work, and the accumulation is heavily skewed to this single release.

From There, One Each Month

From February 2024 through January 2026, one came out each month. Release dates clustered toward the beginning of each month. Twenty-four months, never interrupted once. The first gap came when she switched labels.

Role titles were often given by occupation. TV weather anchor, female news anchor, childcare worker, home health aide, convenience store shift worker, production department AD. Several times the shooting location became a TV studio setting.

She was repeatedly cast in the label’s own projects. “Returning from Location, Shared Room NTR,” “Brainwashing Esthetic,” “SOD Female Employees On-the-Job Training.” In each case, the framework came first, and she was the one filling it each time.

In “Returning from Location, Shared Room NTR,” this setup was assigned:

A new weather anchor, Yano Ema, and camera crew come to shoot in the countryside, but a sudden snowstorm forces them to stay at a local hotel. However, every hotel is fully booked, and she ends up sharing a room with a nasty middle-aged director — a high-pressure power harasser who’s always been aggressive toward Yano.

Her character name is her real name. No stage name is created for use in the work; she’s simply Yano Ema on set. In the actual work, she moves through scenes still wearing the white turtleneck and green skirt she arrived in. Without changing clothes, she’s being approached in the hotel room.

This work has multiple frames showing a smartphone held to the ear. One shows her in a brown slip on a bed, holding it to her ear. Another, while a bespectacled man leans his mouth toward her chest, she keeps it away from her ear. In one of them, phone pressed to her ear, her teeth show.

Twenty months after debut, a compilation collecting twenty works was released.

The first collection features twenty works including her debut! Our full-figured beauty Ema, soaked in eros!

It runs for ten hours. At this point, retirement still wasn’t decided.

During these two years, work outside AV was expanding too. One was radio. Eleven days after her debut, in an interview, she said this:

My dream was to appear on All-Night Nippon, so someday I’d like to buy a time slot on a radio show

She’s using the word “buy” a time slot. Not to be given one, but to purchase it. That was February 2024, and by September of that year, a branded podcast launched on TBS. She didn’t need to buy the slot after all.

In December 2025, she appeared on the “Detective Tsuda” segment of “Wednesday’s Downtown.” Her role was a ghost. It was the day after the compilation was released.

The Apron, Removed and Put Back On

Inside the entryway, they embrace with a tote bag still on her shoulder. Green balloons float near the ceiling — the room of a household with children. There are frames showing her back pressed against the same door.

Looking back over those 24 months, she later wrote:

Through my work, I’ve had many experiences. Things I thought I wasn’t good at gradually changed into joy in self-expression, with each piece I did.

She starts by admitting she wasn’t good at it. Then she places the reason for change in repetition. Not because she improved, not because she got used to it — because she did it over and over.

Elsewhere, she explains her personality this way:

I realized I’m the type who seeks stimulation every day, and I’m not good at belonging to an organization.

An impulse type who seeks stimulation and decides on a trip the night before.

A person who decides plans the night before delivers one piece the same week every month for 24 months straight. These two descriptions of the same person sit side by side.

Twenty-one works in, counting from debut, there’s a role as a childcare worker. The character name is “Ema.”

The son’s babysitter, Ema, was popular with the children.

Her real name goes into the role. This isn’t the only time. She played a weather caster as Yano Ema, and an idol as Yano Ema too. There are fewer roles where she didn’t lend her name.

Throughout the piece, a pink apron appears repeatedly. The apron when she stands among parents pushing strollers in front of the daycare. The apron when she sits on the living room floor. This time she’s still wearing jeans and white socks, and the other person is the first to get naked. A baby bed and dining table are visible in the back.

There’s a frame with the door half open. A mirror beyond the gap, where the two of them stand reflected. A framed picture hangs on the wall in front. The framing shows them through the mirror instead of directly. There are also frames of a dark hallway, with discarded clothes scattered on the floor between it and the front door.

The next time the apron appears, it’s on the floor. She sits naked in the middle of the room, with what she was wearing just moments before cast aside at her feet. Around her are interlocking foam mats, a toy shelf, a wall calendar, and balloons swaying near the ceiling. Two adults in a space surrounded by a child’s belongings.

In the frames where she sits on the foam mat, toys remain scattered around. Two adults on the floor after a child has played. There’s a frame with clear liquid in the palm of her hand, and nothing placed in the background.

The house remains as it is — the dining table, the crib, the sofa untouched. Foam mats cover the floor. Amid nothing but the tools of living, an errand proceeds that doesn’t use them.

And then, once more, the apron returns. In front of the crib, with a man’s face below. The pink apron is the same one she wore in front of the daycare. In that state, there are frames where her eyes are downcast, and frames where she narrows her eyes and shows her teeth in a smile.

Her Own Photobook Appears in the Work

The press conference, the handshake event, the banner with her name written large—these are all tools of the entertainment business. This work brings all of them in and uses every single one of them in reverse.

In front of a wall, a man holds up a black DSLR camera. She stands in front of it wearing a sailor uniform. The way the shot is framed—including the person shooting it—is also present in her debut work in the white room.

Her outfits keep changing from there. In one shot wearing a white knit top, she has black headphones on her head and her mouth open.

In the press conference scene, she stands on a podium in a gold bikini. Behind her is a pink board with her name printed on it, and in front are people holding cameras. She’s wearing a red accessory around her neck, standing in front of a microphone.

And then there’s a shot of her holding a book on the podium. What she’s holding up against her chest is a photobook—the cover reads 「矢埜愛茉 写真集」and 「1st NUDE」. In a fictional press conference, she’s holding her own real product.

There’s another shot of her holding something. This time it’s not a photobook but a white document. Still in maid outfit, she’s sitting in front of a curtain, holding it up to chest height with her mouth open. The text isn’t legible. The same action of holding something up appears twice within the work.

The 100 Million Yen Was Spent on Camera

The photobook featured in the work actually exists. Released by Futabasha on June 19, 2024, it runs 88 pages with photography by Kyoto Tomita. The publisher describes it this way:

A complete first-time nude photobook from Yano Ema, a top idol who pursued entertainment for approximately 13 years as a gravure idol and stage actress, and was even selected for Nippon Television Genic 2014. When she made her AV debut, her contract fee of 100 million yen became a hot topic—now she reveals everything of her beauty and glamorous style!

She also left a personal comment:

A work marking the opening of a second act where I can start anew and discover a new version of myself.

So far, the work is straightforward to understand. Around the same time, she began moving to the other side of the camera. When she started working as an assistant on set, she described it like this:

Since I’m also a performer, when I come on set as an assistant, I find myself thinking “I’d want gravure photos taken like this” or “I wish they’d shoot here right now!” and I get frustrated a lot.

Even as she moves behind the camera, her performer’s self speaks up. She uses the present tense—frustrated still.

Here was where the billion yen that everyone talked about had gone. The contract money was spent on camera equipment. The two characters listed under hobbies became her job title two years later. About what she wants to shoot, she says:

I want people to be happy with photos I’ve taken, and I want to do things that only I can do.

Finger to Her Lips, Looking Back Again and Again

Her index finger rests against her lips as she faces the camera. Her eyes remain open, looking directly. Her hair has taken on a stronger reddish tone than before.

Her first title after the transfer was released on March 20, 2026. On the same day, an interview article appeared in which she discussed feeling uncomfortable being part of an organization. The new work from her recent transfer and her comments about organizational discomfort went public on the same day. Five weeks later, her retirement was announced.

This title’s theme is summed up in a single line.

The landmark first exclusive title’s theme that lays her bare is Madonna’s signature “Intense Tongue Kissing Creampie Sex.”

Since moving to Madonna, something that had never happened before is now taking place. Excluding VR, all three titles feature creampie content.

She drowns completely in her first bareback sex, her first creampie. Exchanging saliva, intertwining desire, losing herself in raw, unprotected sex—her figure absorbed in the act is pure Madonna.

On white sheets, she lies on her back with her arms raised. She wears black lace lingerie. Her partner is near her chest, and she shows her teeth in a smile.

The second release on Madonna came on April 24, 2026. Four days later, retirement was announced on X.

The reviews: 5, and 4,102 people marked it as favorite (as of September 2026). Far more people waited without rating than left a count.

The final work carried this line.

Celebrating 15 years on the public stage, 2 years since a shocking AV debut… The last SEX as a grand sendoff!!

A year earlier, 「Celibate Beauty in Kimono」 had this.

Yano Ema’s lewdest carnal SEX unleashed—after a month of celibacy, the spasming release dripping all over her.

The same words appear once more in the title of the final work.

The work includes an inn and a town. There are frames of her walking outdoors. Train trestles are visible in the background. There is a frame of her standing in front of a shop shelf, holding a white cup and smiling. The shelf is out of focus; we can’t tell what kind of store it is. Inside the same shop, there is another frame capturing only her profile with her hair down. Elsewhere, she walks along a street of storefronts with food in her hand.

In this work, the shooting equipment appears at the edge of the frame. In the bottom right of one shot, she is silhouetted against a wooden Japanese room lattice, a smartphone is visible. A lens reflection in the debut work happened the same way 2 years and 3 months later. This time the equipment is smaller.

At the inn, she wears a navy yukata. She lies on her back on futon and laughs. In another frame, a wooden lattice appears in the background. In another, she has slipped the yukata off her shoulder and is stretching her arm upward.

There is an open-air bath made of stacked rock. At the edge of a black bath, she leans on her elbow, her wet hair still dripping, and cups water in both hands, bringing it to her lips. There she shows her teeth and smiles. In the stone-floored washing area, she bows with her wet skin. Standing in the stone bath facing forward, there is another frame.

There is also a frame where she rests a white towel on her abdomen and lifts her legs. A wooden lattice appears in the background of the Japanese room.

The contents of this one are described as follows.

A month after celibacy, cherishing the parting over 24 hours—10 servings of cumulative indoor document!! Date and SEX, rest and then SEX… A massive work over 3 hours.

On the day distribution began, she wrote this.

The final work, the retirement work distribution has started…! After being involved with many works for two and a half years, the retirement work is Yano Ema’s culmination. I hope you will watch a lot, and remember forever.

There is a frame of her lying on her back on futon. White cloth is there, and she narrows her eyes and shows her teeth.

What was in the debut work was a black screen and white text. The final work has a face.

When she wrote “I’m retiring,” the list of what she achieved

The retirement statement retraces the reason she entered this world, and then lines up what she has accomplished.

“The desire to broaden the scope of my work and make the dreams I wanted come true was one of the reasons I entered this world. In the two and a half years since then, I’ve truly been able to make many of my dreams come true.”

That’s the list below.

“The radio work I wanted to do, collaborations with people I wanted to work with, activities overseas, appearances on various media. And being able to appear on the show I loved so much — I think that wouldn’t have been possible if I hadn’t taken that step back then.”

In the same interview, the subject herself summarizes these 2 years a bit more briefly.

“There are so many things I can do now that wouldn’t have been possible if I had continued with gravure.”

The things that wouldn’t have existed if she had continued with gravure are lined up one by one.

“The show I loved so much” — what it is becomes clear in another interview.

“I love comedians, so my big goal is to work with Audrey. With where I am now, I think “Lessons from My Mistakes” is the closest, so I’d like to appear as a student someday, if nothing else.”

She says she loves comedians. She also says even being a student would be okay. She appeared as a sexy ghost in “Wednesday’s Downtown” about half a year before that. The show’s official account wrote this on that day:

“Yano becomes a sexy ghost…!?”

The subject herself only posted one emoji and the program name. On Instagram’s highlights, there’s a section labeled “Ota activities.”

And what she would be doing going forward was also written there.

“In my 30s going forward, I want to make use of the experience I’ve gained so far, continue with the camera work I’ve always loved, and also take on acting challenges.”

The radio program continues across her retirement. It updates around 8 PM every Friday, and as of September, it has surpassed 100 episodes. The program has a remarkably long title, which in full reads:

“I was listening to a podcast for the first time and thought ‘this is nice,’ and it turns out to be a former sexy actress #Yano Ema?? I’m sure to become captivated, and my radio life is about to change.”

Within the title, she’s called “a former sexy actress.” In the older notation remaining in her link collection, this part read “turns out to be a sexy actress.” The program updated and changed it by one character. The corner names are “Ema Will Tell You Everything ♡” and “Erotic Haiku,” and in some episodes, the talk starts with her dog Muu. There was an episode where she talked about the time she auditioned for an idol. An announcement for one episode says “Bringing you Yano as an actress.” The person who wrote in a statement that she wanted to take on acting is being treated as an actress on the show.

The camera became a job. In her Instagram profile section, it reads:

“This is Yano Ema (yanoe ma).

I love cameras. Camera account 📸 @yn.photo”

She has a separate account just for photography. The highlights include “Photo Exhibition 2026” and “Solo Exhibition January 11, 12, 13.” She decides on a 3-day exhibition period and hangs what she photographed on the walls. The merchandise for the venue is also sold through online mail order. Equipment she bought for 100 million yen has come this far in 2 years.

The person who said she felt frustrated entering the set as an assistant is now on the side that borrows a venue under her own name.

The second photobook comes out on October 2, 2026, from Takeshobo. The shooting location is Amami Oshima. The announcement reads:

“【Notice📢】2nd Photobook “Transparent Time” releases October 2 (Friday) 📖 Shot in Amami Oshima 🏝️”

The news headline called the person releasing this book a “talent.”

“Yano, who transformed from a gravure idol to a sexy actress and is active in a wide range of roles including variety shows,”

A month after retirement, she held a talk event in Nakano. The title is “Yano Ema — Thanks Party Next Chapter,” and the announcement said ”\ Yano Ema Retirement Appreciation Off-meet Talk Event /.” The person who wrote “the opening of the second chapter” in 2024 wrote “new phase” in 2026, and a month later put next chapter in her name.

On her self-introduction page, it says:

“SOD Create exclusive → Madonna exclusive → Sexy actress retirement
