305 Titles. One Studio. This Woman Is Built Different (I Mean That as a Compliment)
Let me talk about 七沢みあ (Nanasawa Mia).
MOODYZ exclusive. Debuted December 2017. 145cm tall (4’9”). C-cup. 305 titles. So far, that’s just data. The interesting part comes next.
This woman wakes up three hours before every shoot to do a face mask, style her hair, do her makeup, and walk onto set in peak condition. She’s done this for eight years straight. Never broke the routine once, apparently. She said so herself in an interview with fempass.
No studio transfers. No hiatuses. 305 titles with ムーディーズ (MOODYZ) and MOODYZ alone. Honestly, that alone is abnormal. But on top of that, she’s active enough as a cosplayer to get media coverage, has published multiple photobooks, and has appeared on TV Tokyo programming.
Seriously, where does she keep all that energy? Where in that 145cm body is it stored?

Someone Who Refuses to Half-Ass Something That Lasts Forever
We covered the numbers. Now let’s talk substance.
In her fempass interview, Nanasawa Mia said this: “A title is something that stays around forever, so I want to treat each one with care.” That single line hits different when you put it next to the number 305. She brought that mindset to every single one. I’ve read a lot of actress interviews, and very few people can say something like that and actually mean it.
What’s interesting is that she openly admits she got cocky in her second year. She hit a wall, course-corrected, and arrived at the mentality she has now. She wasn’t some saint from day one. And honestly, that’s exactly why her prep routine carries weight — it came from somewhere real.
Her agency president apparently described her as “someone who approaches everyone with love.” Her response? “I’m just returning what I’ve received.” I love that energy. She’s not trying to sound noble. She just pays back what she gets. Simple, but most people can’t actually do it.
She also described her future self as “a pale gray.” Not white, not black — gray, which can blend with any color. But pale, so the core still shows through. That’s probably why she can play 305 different characters without ever losing her center.
The Costume Details Are on Another Level — A Hardcore Cosplayer’s Story
And then there’s her other identity. Cosplayer. A serious one.
Open Nanasawa Mia’s Instagram and you’ll find anime character cosplay shots scattered between her work announcements. When she did 環古達 (Tamaki Kotatsu) from 炎炎ノ消防隊 (Fire Force), media outlets described it as “CG-level.” She said herself, “I genuinely love Fire Force,” — the fandom came first, not the job. She’s also done トガヒミコ (Toga Himiko) from 僕のヒーローアカデミア (My Hero Academia), and the costume accuracy was absurd.
When I watch cosplay-themed AV, shoddy costumes kill the mood more often than I’d like to admit. Flimsy fabric, colors that are totally off. With Nanasawa Mia’s cosplay titles, you don’t get that. A genuine anime nerd is picking the outfits, so the attention to detail isn’t amateur-level.
In her fempass interview, she mentioned wanting to do more cosplay and anime-related work. She’s also done runway modeling, worked with clothing brands, and published photobooks including “ななさわぎ” (Nanasawagi), “evergreen,” and “Myth.” She’s appeared on TV Tokyo’s “月ともぐら” (Tsuki to Mogura) too. This is someone who has no intention of staying inside the AV actress box.
And once you know all of that, watching her cosplay titles becomes a completely different experience.
What Comes Out of Those 145 Centimeters
I’ve been pretty serious up to this point, but at her core, she’s a 145cm girl who loves anime and cosplay. Let’s not forget that.
She named being invited as a guest to 三上悠亜 (Mikami Yua)‘s retirement event as “the most memorable moment in her career.” She got to see off someone she’d admired since before her own debut. That was six years after she started in 2017. She was invited because she’d been running with MOODYZ the entire time and built a real position in the industry.
145cm is small even by industry standards. But what makes this woman a problem is the sheer variety of ways she weaponizes that size. She can go the sweet, looking-up-at-you route, or flip it into a tiny-but-dominant little devil who’s pressing down on you from above. Yandere? Works. 地雷系 (jirai-kei / “landmine girl”)? Works. With 305 titles’ worth of acting chops, nothing she does feels thin.
So let me just show you what I mean. Works speak louder than words.
My 5 Picks — Every Single One Is a Different Character
Five titles out of 305. The selection criteria was simple: “Every pick should show a different Nanasawa Mia.” I deliberately excluded titles in the same lane. If you want more of a specific vibe, just use these five as entry points and dig from there.
When the Little Devil Is 4’9”, There’s Nowhere to Run
This is quintessential Nanasawa Mia. She plays a little devil secretary who “gently dominates” a startup CEO. 31 reviews, 4.74 average.
What makes it work is how precisely she applies pressure. She’s physically small, so the camera angle often looks down at her. And yet she has total control. That reversal — being dominated by someone you’re literally looking down at — she pulls it off with facial expressions alone. Most little devil types are like “come here” — they pull you in. Nanasawa Mia is more like “you’re not going anywhere.” Being cornered by someone who’s 145cm hits harder than you’d expect.
The Exact Opposite. A Quiet, Shy Library Committee Member
This is why I want you to watch it right after the previous one. Is this the same person?
She plays a soft-spoken library committee member. 46 reviews, 4.48 average. With minimal dialogue, she conveys emotion through eye movement and breathing. Watch this right after the full-throttle little devil title and you can’t help but grasp just how wide her range is. The same person who can exert that much pressure can also be this fragile.
I’ll admit I might be biased here — I have a thing for titles with this kind of literary atmosphere. But 46 people reviewed it at a 4.48 average, so it’s not just me.
The 7th Anniversary Title — The Face of Someone Who’s Walked the Road with Her Fans
Released December 2024, this is her 7th anniversary commemorative title. It alternates between tsundere mode and deredere mode.
I’ll be honest — the storyline is pretty standard, nothing groundbreaking. But that’s actually the point. This is a title made for fans who’ve been following her for seven years. It doesn’t need to be experimental. The value is in the simple fact that “Nanasawa Mia is still here.” Halfway through, I stopped feeling like I was watching a title and started feeling like I was watching a documentary.
A 4.96 Review Average. Those Numbers Are Insane
70 reviews. 4.96 average. Out of 5.0. Let me say that again — 70 people, 4.96.
The title itself sounds pretty extreme. But when you actually watch it, intimacy overpowers intensity. There’s this sense of someone surrendering everything to the person they love, and it fills the entire screen. It drags your emotions along with it. Nanasawa Mia’s facial expressions are unreal throughout — there are moments where you genuinely can’t tell if she’s acting or not. Something changes behind her eyes.
I think this is Nanasawa Mia’s masterpiece. I’m saying that with full bias, and I stand by it.
Year 8, and She’s Still Unlocking New Characters
A March 2025 release. Shut-in yandere 地雷系 (jirai-kei / “landmine girl”) — a lane Nanasawa Mia had never explored before. 24 reviews, 4.63 average.
The reason I picked this is simple: she’s still showing us new things in year eight. With 305 titles under your belt, it’s easy to start recycling patterns. She doesn’t. The emotionally unstable mood swings that define the jirai-kei archetype — laughing one second, dead-eyed the next — when a 145cm woman does that, cuteness and terror coexist in a way that’s hard to describe.
Who This Is For
- You like the little devil type but you’re bored of “just an assertive girl”: Nanasawa Mia’s version has a different gravitational pull. The reversal of being cornered by someone who’s 4’9” can’t be replicated elsewhere
- You’ve been turned off by bad costumes in cosplay titles: A genuine anime nerd is picking the outfits. The level of detail and authenticity is incomparable
- You’re tired of petite actresses being boxed into the “loli” category: The acting range that comes out of those 145cm is backed by 305 titles of experience. Writing her off as just another small girl is your loss
- You want to follow one actress deeply over the long haul: Eight years with MOODYZ, 305 titles. Once you start digging, you won’t run out of material for a long time
Summary
She wakes up three hours before every shoot and keeps the routine. She treats each of her 305 titles as “something that lasts forever.” Her cosplay isn’t a hobby — it’s the real deal. All of that is packed inside a 145cm frame.
In November 2025, a MOODYZ 25th Anniversary box set was released containing 82 of her titles across 48 hours. The fact that eight years of work fits into a single box is staggering in itself. As she enters year nine as a MOODYZ exclusive, the question is what she’ll show us next. Personally, if an official anime cosplay collaboration project ever materializes, I’ll lose my mind.
